Settings

The settings page centralizes all configuration options – from chest capture frequency to scoring rules – in one place.

Quick Start

Go to Settings from the sidebar
Set your timezone – ensures weekly targets reset at the right time for your clan
Configure tracker credentials – enable automated chest capture
Set weekly targets – establish chest quotas for your members

Accessing Settings

Navigate to Dashboard → Settings from the sidebar, or click the gear icon in the header.

Permission Note: Some settings require Admin access or specific manager permissions. Locked features show a lock icon.

General Settings

Clan Information

Your Total Battle clan identity:

Clan Name	Display name throughout TB Clan Tools	Admin only
Clan Tag	Short identifier (2-6 characters)	Admin only
Kingdom	Your Total Battle server number	Admin only

Why Kingdom? Total Battle has many kingdoms with duplicate clan names. Your kingdom number ensures unique identification.

Timezone Configuration

Set your clan's primary timezone for:

Dashboard time displays
Weekly boundary calculations (when does Monday start?)
Activity insights alignment
Accurate "At Risk" tracking

How to configure:

Select timezone from dropdown (e.g., "America/New_York", "Europe/London")
Click Save Changes
All time-based displays adjust immediately

US Eastern	Sunday 7:00 PM	US-based clans
US Pacific	Sunday 4:00 PM	West coast US clans
Central Europe	Monday 1:00 AM	EU-based clans

Pro Tip: Choose the timezone where most of your active players are located. This makes "end of week" intuitive for the majority.

Tracker Settings

Configure the automated Total Battle Chests Tracker:

Credentials securely encrypted
Never displayed in plain text after saving
Only accessible to Admin and tracker.manage permission holders

Test Connection

Always test before saving:

Enter credentials
Click Test Connection
System attempts to log in to Total Battle
Results:
- ✅ Green checkmark: Credentials valid
- ❌ Red X: Check error message

Enable/Disable Tracker

State	Behavior
ON	Scheduled scans run automatically
OFF	No automatic scanning, existing data preserved

Use Case: Disable temporarily if you're doing maintenance or want to pause tracking during vacation.

Scan Cadence (Frequency)

Event Strategy: Increase to 15 minutes during Rise of Ancients to capture every vault contribution, then return to hourly for normal weeks.

Scoring Settings

Configure how Total Battle chest contributions are valued:

Source Multipliers

Set individual point values for each chest source:

0.0	Excluded (0 points)	Ignore purchased chests
0.5	Half value	Reduce Common Crypt weight
1.0	Normal value (default)	Standard contribution
2.0	Double value	Reward Epic Crypts/Citadels
3.0+	High priority	Emphasize Clan War contributions

Exclusions

Completely remove sources from scoring:

Click Manage Exclusions
Toggle off sources to exclude
Excluded sources show 0 score but still appear in chest archive

Common exclusions:

Personal chests (low effort)
Purchased chests (pay-to-win concern)
Specific event sources you don't track

Targets Settings

Set weekly performance goals:

Recommendations by clan type:

Casual: 15-25 chests/week
Active: 35-50 chests/week
Competitive: 60-100 chests/week

Strategy: Most clans use chest targets (simple, easy to understand). Score targets reward difficult content but require member education.

Team Settings

Manage who can access your Total Battle clan data:

Danger Zone ⚠️

High-risk, irreversible actions at the bottom of Settings:

Reset Clan Data

Warning: This deletes ALL historical chest and player data.

What Gets Deleted	What's Preserved
All chest records	Clan identity (name, tag, kingdom)
All player statistics	Manager accounts and permissions
All scoring history	Share links (but with no data)
Weekly snapshots	Tracker credentials

When to use:

Starting fresh for a new season
Cleaning up test/demo data
Major data corruption (rare)

Process:

Click Reset Clan Data
Type your clan name exactly to confirm
Click Yes, Delete Everything
Data is permanently removed

Best Practice: Export your chest archive BEFORE resetting. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

Delete Clan

Warning: This is permanent and completely irreversible.
