Weekly Targets
The chest targets feature lets you set weekly goals that motivate your clan members and track collective progress. Transform vague expectations into measurable chest quotas with real-time tracking and accountability.
Quick Start
- Go to Settings → Targets
- Set a Weekly Chest Target (e.g., 35 chests per member)
- Check the Dashboard – progress bars show clan-wide completion
- Review At-Risk members mid-week – send reminders before it's too late
Why Total Battle Clans Need Targets
In Total Battle, successful clans maintain consistent activity. Without clear expectations:
- Active players carry inactive ones
- Resentment builds among contributors
- Clan Wealth grows slowly
- Event performance suffers
Targets solve this by:
- Setting clear, measurable weekly expectations
- Tracking individual progress in real-time
- Identifying at-risk members BEFORE the week ends
- Creating accountability through transparency
Accessing Targets
| Location | What You'll See |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Targets progress card with visual progress bars and member status |
| Settings → Targets | Configure target values and thresholds |
Types of Targets
Chest Target (Recommended for Most Clans)
What it measures: Minimum number of Triumphal Chests per member per week.
| Clan Type | Recommended Target | Context |
|---|---|---|
| Casual/Social | 10-20 chests/week | ~2-3 chests/day |
| Semi-Active | 25-35 chests/week | ~4-5 chests/day |
| Active | 40-60 chests/week | ~6-9 chests/day |
| Competitive | 70-100 chests/week | ~10-15 chests/day |
Pro Tip: Chest targets are simpler to communicate and understand. "Earn at least 5 chests per day" is clearer than "achieve 150 score points."
Score Target (For Advanced Clans)
What it measures: Minimum weighted score points per member per week.
Scores factor in:
- Chest source difficulty (Epic Crypt > Common Crypt)
- Custom multipliers (your scoring configuration)
- Member coefficients (trial periods, leadership bonuses)
| Scoring Approach | When to Use |
|---|---|
| Chests only (score = 0) | Simple clans, easy to understand |
| Score only (chests = 0) | Want to reward difficult content |
| Both chests AND score | Require minimum activity AND quality |
Scoring Insight: If you set score targets, members who run Epic Crypts will reach targets faster than those running only Common Crypts. This rewards challenging content.
Configuring Targets
Step-by-Step Setup

Configuration Tips
| Goal | Configuration |
|---|---|

| Reward difficult content | Chest Target = 0, Score Target = 150 |
| Both activity AND quality | Chest Target = 25, Score Target = 100 |
Understanding the Targets Dashboard Card
Progress Bars
Two progress bars show collective clan achievement:
| Bar | What It Shows | Calculation |
|---|---|---|
| Chest Progress | % toward clan chest goal | Total Chests ÷ (Target × Active Members) |
| Score Progress | % toward clan score goal | Total Score ÷ (Target × Active Members) |
Example:
- Clan has 40 active members
- Chest target is 30/member
- Clan goal = 40 × 30 = 1,200 chests
- If clan has 900 chests → 75% progress
Player Status Grid
Members are categorized into status groups:
| Status | Visual | Meaning | Action Needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| ✅ Completed | Green | Met or exceeded targets | Recognize them! |
| 🟡 On Track | Yellow | Projected to finish on time | No action needed |
| ⚠️ At Risk | Orange | Behind pace, may miss target | Gentle reminder |
| ❌ Below Target | Red | Significantly behind | Serious conversation |
| ⭕ No Activity | Gray | Zero chests this week | Check if still playing |
At-Risk Members List
The card highlights members who need attention:
| Information Shown | Why It Helps |
|---|---|
| Player name | Who to contact |
| Current progress | How far behind are they? |
| Days remaining | How much time to catch up? |
| Gap to target | How many chests/points needed? |
Leadership Tip: Check the At-Risk list on Wednesday. Mid-week intervention gives members time to catch up.
Progress Calculation Details
Individual Member Progress
Chest Progress % = (Member's Chests This Week ÷ Weekly Chest Target) × 100
Score Progress % = (Member's Score This Week ÷ Weekly Score Target) × 100
Projected Completion
TB Clan Tools calculates whether members will likely finish:
Daily Average = Chests So Far ÷ Days Elapsed
Projected Week Total = Daily Average × 7
Status = Projected >= Target ? "On Track" : "At Risk"
Clan Overall Progress
Clan Chest % = Total Clan Chests ÷ (Chest Target × Active Members)
Clan Score % = Total Clan Score ÷ (Score Target × Active Members)
Week Boundaries and Timing
When Does the Week Reset?
Weeks run Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC.
The week resets based on your clan's configured timezone (set in Settings → General). Check your timezone setting to know exactly when your week starts and ends.
Communication Tip: Share the UTC timing with your clan so everyone knows when progress resets.
Historical Week Viewing
- Use the week selector to view past weeks
- Compare performance week-over-week
- Defaults to current week view
Strategies for Total Battle Clan Leaders
Setting Initial Targets
- Analyze current activity – Check your Dashboard KPIs for baseline
- Set achievable goals – Start at 80% of current average
- Communicate clearly – Post targets in clan chat
- Allow adjustment period – Give 2-3 weeks before raising
Progressive Target Increases
| Week | Strategy |
|---|---|
| Week 1-2 | Set below current average (build wins) |
| Week 3-4 | Match current average |
| Week 5-6 | Increase 10-15% if clan is meeting goals |
| Ongoing | Adjust based on performance trends |
Mid-Week Management
| Day | Action |
|---|---|
| Monday | Announce targets, encourage strong start |
| Wednesday | Check At-Risk list, send reminders |
| Friday | Final push notification, highlight close races |
| Sunday | Recognize completers, note strugglers for follow-up |
Handling Consistently Failing Members
| Pattern | Possible Cause | Suggested Action |
|---|---|---|
| Always below target | Target too high for them | Lower their coefficient or have a conversation |
| Recently started failing | Real-life issue, burnout | Private check-in, temporary exception |
| Never meets any target | Wrong clan fit | Discuss expectations and commitment |
Coefficients and Target Fairness
Member coefficients adjust score calculations:
| Coefficient | Applied To | Effect on Score Target |
|---|---|---|
| 0.5 | New recruits (trial) | Halved expectations |
| 0.8 | Part-time players | Reduced expectations |
| 1.0 | Standard members | Normal (default) |
| 1.2 | Officers with duties | Slightly higher value |
| 1.5 | Leadership | Recognition bonus |
Fair Play: If using score targets, communicate coefficient differences. A new member with 0.5 coefficient effectively has half the score target.
Coefficient vs. Target Adjustment
| Situation | Adjust Coefficient | Lower Target |
|---|---|---|
| New trial member | ✅ Set to 0.5 | ❌ Affects everyone |
| Member with known time constraints | ✅ Set to 0.8 | ❌ |
| Whole clan struggling | ❌ | ✅ Lower target for all |
| Leadership has extra duties | ✅ Bonus (1.2-1.5) | ❌ |
Public Targets and Recruitment
When you create a public link (Share Links), targets are visible:
What Recruits See
- Your clan's weekly targets (shows you have standards)
- Current progress bars (shows active engagement)
- Member status distribution (shows accountability)
Recruitment Benefits
| What's Visible | Message to Recruits |
|---|---|
| Clear targets | "This clan has expectations" |
| High completion % | "Members are active and engaged" |
| Transparent tracking | "Contributions are valued here" |
Recruitment Tip: A public dashboard showing 80%+ completion rate is powerful proof of an active, organized clan.
Tips for Successful Target Implementation
Do's
- ✅ Start lower than you think – Early wins build momentum
- ✅ Communicate in game – Post targets in Total Battle clan chat
- ✅ Check Wednesday – Mid-week is intervention time
- ✅ Recognize achievers – Public praise motivates everyone
- ✅ Be consistent – Same targets each week builds habits
Don'ts
- ❌ Don't set and forget – Active management is required
- ❌ Don't punish immediately – Give warnings before kicks
- ❌ Don't ignore context – Rise of Ancients week is different than quiet weeks
- ❌ Don't compare unfairly – New members vs. veterans need different expectations
- ❌ Don't raise targets during events – Keep consistency
Event Week Considerations
During major Total Battle events (Rise of Ancients, Ragnarok):
| Approach | When to Use |
|---|---|
| Keep normal targets | Events generate extra chests naturally |
| Set event-specific targets | Add "13+ event chests" requirement |
| Lower regular targets | If you want focus on event only |
TB Clan Tools targets transform Total Battle clan management from guesswork to data-driven accountability. Set clear expectations, track real-time progress, and build a consistently active clan.
