Features/Scoring System

Scoring System

The chest scoring system assigns point values based on source difficulty, enabling fair comparisons between members who run Epic Crypts versus those who only complete Common ones.

Quick Start

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Scoring
  2. Choose a template – Default works for most clans, or try PvE/PvP Focus
  3. Review source multipliers – see how each chest type is valued
  4. Check member scores on the Dashboard – higher scores mean harder content

Why Scoring Matters for Total Battle Clans

Raw chest counts don't tell the whole story in Total Battle:

ActivityEffort RequiredRaw ChestsFair Value?
Common Crypt Level 52 minutes solo1 chestLow
Epic Crypt Level 2510+ minutes, strong heroes1 chestHigh
Elven Citadel 25Coordinated clan effort1 chestVery High
Rise of Ancients vaultEvent-specific, limited time1 chestHigh

Without scoring: A player doing 50 easy Common Crypts looks better than one doing 20 challenging Epic Crypts.

With scoring: Contributions are weighted by difficulty, rewarding effort appropriately.

How the Scoring System Works

Each chest receives a score based on three factors:

Final Score = Base Value Γ— Source Multiplier Γ— Member Coefficient
FactorWhat It ControlsWho Sets It
Base ValueDefault points for source typeSystem (built-in)
Source MultiplierCustom adjustment per sourceClan admin
Member CoefficientIndividual member adjustmentClan admin

Managing Exclusions

Some sources shouldn't count toward scores at all:

When to Exclude

Source TypeWhy Exclude
Purchased chestsPay-to-win concern
Personal chestsLow/no effort
Trivial contentNot meaningful contribution
Broken sourcesOCR errors pending fix

Adding Exclusions

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Scoring
  2. Click Manage Exclusions
  3. Toggle sources to exclude
  4. Click Save

Exclusion vs. Zero Multiplier

ApproachBehavior
ExclusionSource hidden from scoring UI, 0 points
Zero MultiplierSource visible but shows 0 points

Recommendation: Use exclusions for sources you never want to see. Use zero multipliers for sources you want to track but not reward.
